Job Title:

Lead QA Engineer – Business Systems

About the Role:

We are establishing a formal quality practice for our go-to-market and analytics platforms. As our first Lead QA Engineer, you will take test scripts authored by various teams, execute each script, and confirm every release meets real-world expectations.

Responsibilities:
  • Built and maintained a unified QA strategy that covered applications, integrations, and data pipelines.
  • Reviewed stakeholder-authored scripts, enhanced them when gaps appeared, and converted them into manual and automated test suites.
  • Ran functional, regression, integration, performance, security, and data-quality tests in sandbox and production-like environments.
  • Embedded smoke and regression checks into Copado so only validated code moved forward.
  • Managed realistic test data in Salesforce sandboxes and Snowflake dev environments.
  • Logged defects in Jira, drove root-cause analysis with developers, retested fixes, and issued clear go/no-go calls.
  • Published easy-to-read QA metrics that showed coverage, defect trends, and release readiness.
  • Couched admins, developers, and analysts to create stronger scripts and embrace a quality-first mindset.
Requirements:
  • 8 years of professional QA experience, including 2 years leading or owning QA for enterprise business systems.
  • Proven testing expertise in Salesforce plus at least one finance platform such as NetSuite or Certinia.
  • Strong SQL skills for validating Snowflake and dbt transformations.
  • Practical automation experience with tools that integrated into Copado CI/CD.
  • Comfortable working in Jira and Confluence and collaborating directly with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with Gainsight, ServiceNow, or CPQ testing.
  • Background in performance or data-drift testing.
  • Familiarity with regulated environments such as SOX.
