Job Title: Business Credit Manager

We are seeking an experienced business credit manager to join our team. As a key member of our business loans division, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and managing the creditworthiness of potential business borrowers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Credit Assessment:
    Review loan applications, financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documents to assess a business's creditworthiness.
  • Risk Analysis:
    Identify potential risks associated with lending to specific businesses, evaluate their ability to repay loans, and determine appropriate loan terms.
  • Loan Approval:
    Approve or reject loan applications based on creditworthiness and adherence to company policies.
  • Credit Limit Determination:
    Set appropriate credit limits for approved loans, ensuring they align with the borrower's financial capacity and risk profile.
  • Interest Rate Determination:
    Determine interest rates for loans based on factors like credit risk, market conditions, and company policies.
  • Loan Documentation:
    Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all loan documentation, including loan agreements, security documents, and other relevant paperwork.
  • Credit Monitoring:
    Continuously monitor the performance of existing loans, identify early warning signs of potential defaults, and take necessary actions to mitigate risks.
  • Relationship Management:
    Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, such as sales and relationship management teams, as well as external stakeholders, such as borrowers and industry professionals.
  • Reporting:
    Prepare reports on loan performance, risk exposure, and other relevant metrics for management and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in credit management or a related field.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
