This role oversees and directs teams composed of various contributor levels, ensuring defined performance objectives resource allocation, and efficient resolution of credit and collection matters.
Responsibilities- Manages and leads teams comprising individual contributors supervisors, and or lower-level managers by defining and monitoring performance objectives allocating resources and staff and ensuring the prompt and effective resolution of credit decisions and collection matters.
- Aligns individual metrics with corporate objectives and identifies talent for development opportunities.
- Manages credit and collection operations at a regional sub-regional, or Center of Excellence level driving efficient processes.
- Collaborates with employees across internal departments including executive levels to address issues particularly those contributing to non-payment situations.
- Evaluates the appropriate degree of credit risk to extend to customers and presents well-supported arguments to management for credit decisions possessing the authority to authorize credit per the established matrix.
- Negotiates with high-value and high-risk customers including up to partner and upper management levels regarding contracts payment structures, and customer payments.
- Resolves challenges encountered with high-value and high-risk customers ensuring effective resolution.
- Proposes structural enhancements to the organization aimed at optimizing efficiency and performance.
- Applies expert subject matter knowledge shapes knowledge base across businesses functions, or regions, and provides strong leadership driving change initiatives, and monitoring performance goals.
- Strategic thinking skills to drive business outcomes.
