Enterprise Data Governance Manager


Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Data Governance Manager to lead the development and implementation of data governance policies and standards across our organization. This critical role is responsible for ensuring that data is managed effectively and complies with privacy, security, and risk regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation, review, and publication of enterprise data governance policies, standards, and data quality frameworks.
  • Establish and manage monitoring processes and audit mechanisms to ensure policy compliance and identify areas of non-conformance.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to align policies with evolving business needs, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, data science, law, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data governance, policy development, or risk management and compliance.
  • Deep understanding of data privacy, security, and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Proficiency with governance platforms like Collibra and GRC tools such as OneTrust or ServiceNow IRM.
  • Excellent analytical, auditing, monitoring, and compliance skills.
  • Experience developing governance training materials and facilitating adoption across cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Certification nice to have.
  • Ability to execute maturity assessments.

Location and Work Arrangement:

Hyderabad, India - Full time role - Hybrid work mode.
