Web Operations Strategist

A web operations strategist plans, strategizes and oversees maintenance for the brand website by ensuring quality of content, optimal performance, and excellent user experience. This role involves managing responsibilities and timely execution of tasks, liaising with design and development teams, pitching improvements to the websites, planning, implementing, managing, monitoring and upgrading client's website.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee responsibilities and timely execution of tasks.
  • Liaise with design and development teams for projects.
  • Be proactive in pitching improvements to the websites.
  • Plan, implement, manage, monitor and upgrade client's website.
  • Respond to and troubleshoot all website issues.
  • Identify and respond to all website security breaches.

Core Duties:

  • Conduct content audits to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information.
  • Plan communication aligned with the brand strategy.
  • Ensure website quality and efficiency by conducting regular test plans.
  • Collaborate with teams and management to ensure that the website aligns with brand strategy.
  • Prepare and present strategies to grow website metrics important to the brand.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and monitor competitor websites.
  • Plan, strategize and track promotional campaigns.
  • Analyse, strategise, plan and prepare monthly website performance reports and present to internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Understanding user behavior and building user journey.
  • Awareness about product management & best practices.
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving attitude.
  • Working knowledge of web technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, Sitecore, Shopify, Magento, or similar).
  • Experience using at least 1 e-commerce platform (eg: Shopify, Magento).
  • Experience using Agile Methodology for project management.
  • Google Analytics Power User.
  • Understand and read API documentation.
  • Ability to adapt to new tools and software.
  • Good understanding of SEO.
  • Ability to troubleshoot website issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Preparing pitch decks.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to resolve team conflict.
  • Fantastic time management skills.
