IT Sourcing Expert

As a strategic IT sourcing professional, you will play a key role in driving effective collaboration and communication with clients and colleagues to deliver business objectives.

About the Role:
  • You will foster strong relationships with key client stakeholders and colleagues to drive high levels of client engagement and satisfaction.
  • Maintain supplier relationship management for assigned suppliers.
  • Act as the primary contact person for IT category sourcing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sourcing Strategy Development:
  • Analyze spend and contracts to identify sourcing opportunities and cost reduction strategies.
  • Develop cost models to meet business needs.
  • Work with clients and colleagues to define and implement global and regional IT strategies.
  1. Sourcing Initiative Management:
  • Lead end-to-end IT sourcing projects within agreed timelines and service quality.
  • Deliver allocated savings targets through effective sourcing initiative management.
  • Adhere to defined sourcing policies and processes.
  1. Sourcing Support:
  • Provide sourcing expertise to support client engagements and pitches.
  • Support sourcing planning and execution across a dynamic environment.

Requirements:

  • University degree in economics or Supply Chain Management and/or Legal, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Addition sourcing/procurement certification is advantageous.
  • Strong English language skills.
  • A minimum of 12-15 years' experience in strategic sourcing, ideally international.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence decision-making.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Proven experience in knowledge of procurement of IT Infrastructure Products and Services, Office IT Products and Services, and Cloud and Datacenter services.
  • Deep understanding of License Model, Service Models, IT – Applications and Infrastructure.
  • Experience in negotiating and maintaining relationships with third-party IT vendors.

  • Knowledge of contract law and negotiation techniques.
  • Experience in developing and implementing sourcing strategies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
