Category Manager - LingerieThe ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing assortment plans to optimize product mix.
Key responsibilities include coordinating with vendors for product selection, ordering, and timely deliveries, monitoring stock levels, and planning replenishments to maintain healthy inventory turnover.
Strong analytical skills are required to analyze sales trends and consumer behavior, execute demand planning and forecasting, prepare and maintain detailed reports, manage auto purchase order scheduling, collaborate with store teams, and identify assortment gaps and new opportunities.
- Develop and implement category-wise assortment plans
- Coordinate with vendors for product selection, ordering, and deliveries
- Monitor stock levels and plan replenishments
- Analyze sales trends and consumer behavior
- Execute demand planning and forecasting
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports
- Manage auto purchase order scheduling
- Collaborate with store teams
- Identify assortment gaps and new opportunities
- 3-6 years of experience in retail category management, merchandising, or planning
- Background in apparel, fashion, or FMCG retail preferred
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills
- Experience with ERP/POS systems advantageous
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and in cross-functional teams
