Lingerie Product Strategist

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Category Manager to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for developing and implementing category-wise assortment plans to drive sales growth and profitability.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize product mix and ensure healthy inventory turnover.
- Collaborate with vendors to select products, manage ordering, and coordinate timely deliveries.
- Analyze sales trends and consumer behavior to inform category performance and profitability.
- Execute demand planning and forecasting to meet sales targets while minimizing excess inventory.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports on sales, inventory, and category performance.
- Manage auto purchase order scheduling and monitor timely replenishments.
- Work closely with store teams to drive category-specific promotions and initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the lingerie and nightwear categories.
Requirements:
- 3–6 years of experience in retail category management, merchandising, or planning.
- Background in apparel, fashion, or FMCG retail is preferred.
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills for inventory and sales planning.
- Experience with ERP/POS systems such as Ginesys is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
