Role Overview

This key leadership position in finance is responsible for spearheading strategic and operational initiatives across banqueting & catering businesses in Chandigarh.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive financial plans, ensuring compliance, profitability, and process excellence.
  • Lead accounts payable/receivable management, cost control, revenue optimization, and internal controls.
  • Review and analyze profit and loss statements, cash flows, and operational metrics specific to banquet and catering projects.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory regulations; coordinate with auditors and tax authorities.
  • Implement robust financial best practices, controls, and ERP systems tailored to banqueting/catering.
  • Collaborate with operations and sales teams to plan profitable events, track margins, and manage expenses.
  • Provide clear financial analysis and recommendations to support leadership decision-making.
  • Drive a culture of continuous process improvement and financial integrity within the finance team.
  • Manage vendor contracts, payment cycles, and timely disbursements to suppliers and service partners.

Requirements:

  • CA/MBA (Finance) or equivalent, with 8-12 years of overall finance experience, including at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in budgeting, compliance, MIS, financial modeling, event/catering cost controls.
  • Proficiency in Tally, SAP, or hospitality ERP systems.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • High integrity and process orientation; experience in audit and statutory reporting.
