Event Operations Manager

Job Description:

  • Oversee all aspects of event planning, including logistics, vendor management, and project execution.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote events and initiatives.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to crisis management and resolution.
  • Create detailed event budgets and manage finances effectively.
  • Collaborate with vendors, stakeholders, and team members to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices, sharing insights and knowledge with the team.
  • Ensure adherence to internal processes and protocols.
  • Negotiate with external bodies to secure necessary permissions.
  • Assume special assignments and projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Passion for events and activations.
  • Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to adapt and learn new skills.
  • Experience in visualizing events and translating them into memorable experiences.
  • Strong foundation in ethics and moral values.
  • Able to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • 5-7 years of experience in managing diverse types of events.
  • Established relationships with vendors and industry partners.
  • Proven ability to liaise with external agencies and departments.
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages an asset.
