Job Description

The Collections Specialist will be responsible for driving recoveries on overdue loans, primarily focusing on Personal Loans (PL), Business Loans (BL), and Auto Loan portfolios.

  • Engage with delinquent customers to follow up on overdue payments
  • Manage loan portfolios across due payment date buckets
  • Offer closure, settlement, or restructuring options aligned with internal policies
  • Maintain calling discipline and track payment-to-pay deadlines, callbacks, and payments
  • E nsure regulatory and organizational guidelines are met in customer communication and data handling

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contact delinquent customers to follow up on overdue payments
  2. Manage PL/BL/Auto Loan portfolios across DPD buckets
  3. Offer closure, settlement, or restructuring options aligned with internal policies
  4. Maintain calling discipline and track PTPs, callbacks, and payments

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in collections or recoveries
  • Prior experience in tele-calling or collections call centers is a must
  • Strong knowledge of recovery/settlement documentation and processes
  • Fluency in Hindi and English, with additional regional languages being a plus
  • Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills
