Senior Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Operations Associate to manage accounting operations for our US-based hotel and resort portfolio. The role involves handling daily income audits, multi-currency bookkeeping, reconciliations, and month-end processes, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with US accounting standards.
- Perform daily income journal loading and reconcile revenues with supporting reports from property management systems.
- Manage bank reconciliations across multiple hotel accounts, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Support month-end close activities including accruals, prepaid expenses, depreciation, and intercompany allocations.
- Reconcile general ledger entries, trial balance, and balance sheet schedules to ensure accuracy.
- Process and monitor accounts payable – vendor invoices, utility bills, and expense reimbursements.
- Handle accounts receivable – guest ledger, city ledger, and third-party billing reconciliations.
- Oversee multi-currency accounting transactions, ensuring compliance with foreign exchange policies.
- Prepare and validate financial statements, P&L reports, and variance analysis for multiple properties.
- Ensure proper revenue recognition in line with US GAAP and company accounting policies.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required. Minimum 3 years of US Hotel Accounting experience is mandatory. Strong knowledge of income audit, AP/AR, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close activities is necessary.
