Job Title: Regional Business Development Manager
About This RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Business Development Manager to lead our strategic alliances and drive business growth in the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key partners, identifying new business opportunities, and developing innovative partnership strategies to enhance market penetration.
Key Responsibilities- Foster Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with banks, NBFCs, MFIs, brokers, and corporate agents to expand our market presence and achieve regional targets.
- Onboard New Partners: Identify and engage with potential partners through consultative B2B interactions, showcasing our capabilities in credit life, broking, corporate agency, and group insurance.
- Innovate Partnership Models: Design and implement creative partnership strategies to increase market share and meet business objectives.
- Optimize Performance: Monitor and analyze the performance of existing alliances to ensure they align with business goals.
- Develop Business Plans: Create and execute regional business plans aligned with national strategy, focusing on growth and expansion.
- Maintain Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders in partner organizations, ensuring smooth operations and resolving any escalations.
- Lead and Mentor a Team: Collaborate with product and operations teams to tailor offerings for partners, providing market intelligence and competition mapping to influence product strategy. Lead and mentor a team of alliance managers and business development executives.
- Ensure Compliance: Guarantee adherence to IRDAI regulations and internal controls, upholding our standards.
- Strategic Business Development: Proven experience in developing and executing business development strategies to drive growth and expansion.
- Relationship Building: Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders.
