Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Area Collection Manager to lead our collection efforts in the microfinance sector. This role will be responsible for overseeing a team of branch collection officers and field collection agents, ensuring high productivity and adherence to collection protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management:
  • Lead and manage a team of professionals to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to boost team performance.
  • Collection Operations:
  • Design and execute targeted collection strategies to meet business targets.
  • Monitor overdue accounts, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve customer disputes and issues.
  • Portfolio Monitoring:
  • Analyze delinquency trends, recovery patterns, and propose data-driven solutions.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on overdue cases and recommend high-risk case escalation.
  • Compliance and Documentation:
  • Guarantee collections are conducted ethically and in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate MIS reports, documentation, and records related to collections.
  • Conduct regular field visits to verify customer status and assess recovery progress.
  • Customer Interaction:
  • Foster strong relationships with customers to understand repayment concerns and provide viable resolution plans.
  • Handle escalated cases with diplomacy and professionalism.
  • Reporting:
  • Submit regular reports to senior management on collection performance and proposed improvements.
