Senior IT Specialist Position

This is a challenging role that requires an experienced professional to manage and maintain our systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in system health, configuration, and upgrades.

  • The position involves overseeing the overall health of our Lusis Tango system, including configurations and upgrades. This includes analyzing high-impact incidents, leading root cause analysis, and conducting post-mortems.
  • Maintenance of configuration baselines, documentation, and change control records is also a key responsibility.
  • The successful candidate will be able to lead, mentor, and manage a team, as well as coordinate support shift rotations, incident response, and service delivery.
  • Defining and tracking KPIs/SLAs for system uptime, issue resolution, and support quality are also essential tasks.
  • Liaising with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, development, QA, and business stakeholders, is crucial for this role.
  • The position also involves contributing to the Tango platform roadmap, including capacity planning, scaling, and modernization.
  • A key aspect of the job is driving automation and monitoring improvements, such as self-healing and proactive alerting.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal security, risk, and audit requirements is also a significant responsibility.
  • Familiarity with databases (MySQL), log analysis, and transaction tracing is necessary for this role.
  • Expertise in Linux, including scripting and process management, is also required.

Key Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in Switch Applications
  • 3-4 years of experience with TANGO
  • Expertise in Linux, including scripting and process management
