Audit Associate Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Audit Associate Manager to lead engagement teams on planning and execution to deliver world-class client service. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple engagements concurrently, meeting client deadlines, and creating and tracking engagement budgets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and mentoring staff, providing support to engagement staff, seniors, and supervisors, and promoting open communication with the engagement partner. Additionally, they will collaborate with engagement partners on client issue resolution and recommend legal, regulatory, and accounting issues.

To succeed in this role, you will need exceptional analytical, technical, and auditing skills, including familiarity with US GAAP. You will also require excellent client service and communication skills, demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client/internal relationships, and strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or Master's; CPA preferred.
  • At least 5+ years of public accounting experience, with experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff.
  • Exceptional analytical, technical, and auditing skills, including familiarity with US GAAP.
  • Excellent client service and communication skills with demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client/internal relationships.
