As a senior finance leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving our company's financial strategy forward.

We are seeking an experienced and seasoned finance professional to oversee all aspects of our financial operations across India and the US. The successful candidate will provide expert financial guidance, ensure regulatory compliance, and implement best practices that align with our company goals for long-term financial sustainability and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an IT/ITES company engaged in client services or product development. They should possess a deep understanding of the IT/ITES sector, client service models, cost structures, and market trends. International exposure in managing financial operations across multiple geographies is also essential.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

1. Financial Planning & Strategy:

  • Develop and implement the company's financial strategy, aligning with overall business objectives.
  • Prepare and present financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans to senior management.
  • Analyse financial performance and advise on strategies to optimize profitability and growth.

2. Financial Operations & Control:

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, billing, payroll, accounts receivable/payable, and banking relationships in both India and the US.
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP/IFRS and applicable local regulatory requirements.

3. Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
  • Analyse variances between actual performance and budget, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.

4. Risk Management & Compliance:

  • Identify and assess financial risks, including currency exchange risk between India and US operations, and implement strategies to mitigate them.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and guidelines in both countries.

5. Strategic Decision Support:

  • Serve as a key advisor to senior management on financial matters and business strategy.
  • Provide financial insights for critical business decisions, including investments, mergers & acquisitions, and new service line launches.

6. Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
