Job Summary: We are seeking an accomplished Senior Finance Leader to spearhead our finance operations in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning day-to-day finance activities, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial records, accounts, and reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and manage monthly MIS reports, including profit and loss statements, cash flow, and budget versus actuals, providing timely insights to leadership.
  • Maintain up-to-date bookkeeping, compliance, and documentation aligned with statutory regulations.
  • Lead and mentor a small finance team, ensuring deliverables are accurate, timely, and aligned with organizational needs.
  • Support leadership with financial reporting, analysis, and insights to aid decision-making and investor communications.
  • Track and report financial and operational key performance indicators, ensuring visibility across functions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial processes with business objectives.
  • Manage statutory compliance in India and support UK compliance in collaboration with external advisors.
  • Assist in preparing investor reports, forecasts, and financial models to support fundraising and growth planning.
  • Work on process improvements in bookkeeping, MIS, compliance, and financial planning to ensure scalability.

We are looking for someone with 5-7 years of experience in financial management, accounting, or auditing, ideally within a fast-growing or dynamic environment. Strong collaborator skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for presenting complex financial information to investors, auditors, and internal teams.
