Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled IC Design Engineer to join our team. As an IC Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing integrated circuits using various tools and technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Expertise in Symbol and Footprint Creation: Proficient in creating symbols and footprints using OrCAD capture and Allegro tools.
  • Cadence Tool Expertise: Experienced in using Cadence tools for IC design.
  • Library Management: Good knowledge of library management, including CIS Component Information System and CIP - Component Information Portal.
  • Schematic Design: Able to leverage the capture CIS/CIP database management functionality for PCB schematic design.
  • Orcad Centralized Library: Experienced in working with Orcad Centralized libraries.
  • Secondary Responsibilities:
  • OEM Component Sourcing: Proficient in specifying OEM component sources based on design engineering specs.
  • Silicon Expert Tools: Proficient in using Silicon Expert and similar tools to find second sources, validate component life cycles, etc.
  • Footprint and Symbol Creation: Skilled in creating footprints and symbols in Allegro/OrCAD.
  • Allegro/OrCAD Library Management: Experienced in managing Allegro/OrCAD libraries.
