Senior Design Researcher Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Researcher to join our team. This role will involve exploring user interactions with our platform, understanding their needs, and shaping better learning experiences.

Job Description

This position is part of a broader initiative aimed at helping healthcare professionals build critical skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Planning and driving a continuous discovery strategy that embeds testing into the work cadence.
  • Measuring user behavior and generating insights from data to define hypotheses and discovery initiatives.
  • Using qualitative and quantitative research methods to uncover the 'why' behind user behaviors.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to:

  • Champion and coach design thinking practices within and across teams.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and iterate on user stories.
  • Work closely with designers providing research input and insights to support the creation of meaningful user experiences and interfaces.
Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Strong experience in design research and a proven track record of delivering improvements to products.
  • Natural curiosity and enthusiasm for exploring new ideas and technologies.
  • Ability to run workshops that get others excited about building user-focused products.
  • Confidence using different research methods and staying flexible in challenging situations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A degree in Design or a related field.
