The Opportunity
  • To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Product Development Expert located in Chennai.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Creating part numbers for bills of materials and managing product specifications efficiently.
  2. Downloading customer documents and releasing them in CDC Work as a Change Analyst during new product introductions.
  3. Releasing part lists to production for new models and after implementation of engineering change orders.
  4. Managing engineering change orders for manufacturing sites across the globe using agile system.
  5. Studying ECOs / Drawings closely and coordinating with site process / product engineering team.
  6. Working closely with engineering and materials teams to review product updates / modifications.
  7. Responding to business partners and customers on queries relating to engineering change orders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with 0-2 years of experience as an NPI/ECO Engineer in a manufacturing setup.
  • Hands-on experience in New Product Introduction, Engineering Change Order management, and bill of materials management.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and Outlook.
  • Good analytical skills and coaching & mentoring skills.
