Job Title: Deputy General Manager/Assistant General Manager – Design

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage design output for commercial and hospitality interiors.
  • Collaborate with sales and design leadership to develop project briefs and drive client presentations.
  • Act as project in-charge for design deliverables and client communication.
  • Supervise and mentor design teams to ensure high-quality, innovative, and functional designs.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with client expectations.
  • Drive cross-department coordination to maintain alignment on design, cost, and execution.
  • Provide leadership in budgeting, scheduling, and P&L understanding.
  • Take ownership of client satisfaction and issue resolution throughout project execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in commercial and hospitality interior design.
  • Proven track record in leading high-profile projects with outstanding design quality.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with clients.
  • Deep knowledge of materials, costing, GFC details, and project execution.
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and process orientation.
  • Ability to lead teams with entrepreneurial mindset and ownership.
  • Experience in budgeting, scheduling, and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
