Data Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gathering, Analyzing, and Interpreting Large Datasets: Deliver actionable business insights by analyzing and interpreting large datasets.
  • SQL and PySpark Query Writing: Write efficient SQL and PySpark queries to extract, transform, and validate data.
  • Unity Catalog Management: Work with Unity Catalog in Databricks for secure data management and governance.
  • Power BI Dashboard Development: Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports for business stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Reporting Data Security: Ensure accuracy, consistency, and security of reporting data across systems.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Document processes, queries, and dashboards for knowledge sharing.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in Data Analysis: 4+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence.
  • Strong SQL Proficiency: Strong proficiency in SQL for complex queries and data validation.
  • PySpark Expertise: Hands-on experience with PySpark for data transformations.
  • Unity Catalog Knowledge: Knowledge of Unity Catalog in Databricks for data governance and access management.
  • Power BI Mastery: Expertise in Power BI for building automated dashboards and reports.
