Senior Business Insights Specialist

Job Title: Senior Business Insights Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned senior business insights specialist with expertise in data analysis, Python programming, and effective communication to drive business growth and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex data models, visualizations, and reports using Python libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) to inform business strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into actionable insights, and communicate results to stakeholders through compelling presentations and narratives.
  • Develop and maintain databases, including SQL and NoSQL solutions, for efficient data storage, retrieval, and manipulation to support business intelligence initiatives.
  • Work closely with data engineers to design, implement, and optimize large-scale data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Implement web scraping solutions using tools like Scrapy and BeautifulSoup to extract valuable information from diverse sources and integrate it into our data ecosystem.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience as a senior data analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and key data libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn), with hands-on experience in data modeling, visualization, and machine learning.
  • Hands-on experience with web scraping tools and libraries (Scrapy, BeautifulSoup) to extract and process structured and unstructured data.
  • Solid understanding of databases with strong SQL skills; exposure to databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB is a plus.
  • Experience with data visualization libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly) and/or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience using version control systems (Git).
