Business Insights Specialist

Description:

As a key member of our analytics team, the Business Insights Specialist will work with raw data to extract actionable insights, driving data-driven decisions for both retail and e-commerce channels. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysing sales trends, customer behaviour, and pricing performance, as well as collecting, cleaning, and structuring data from various sources.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and automated reports using Power BI and Tableau.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) across retail and e-commerce channels.
  • Conduct demand forecasting, product evaluation, assortment analysis, and customer segmentation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, merchandising, and operations teams to deliver strategic recommendations.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and quality across all reporting systems.
  • Present insights and strategic recommendations to senior management for informed decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, with 3+ years in retail/wholesale analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in data visualization tools, including Power BI and Tableau.
  • Solid understanding of retail KPIs, sales metrics, and inventory data.
  • Experience with POS, ERP, and retail analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as Snowflake and BigQuery.
  • Background in omni-channel or e-commerce environments.
