Our organization seeks an experienced professional to fill a vital role in ensuring workplace safety and efficiency. This key position demands strong organizational, communication, and training skills.
The ideal candidate should possess at least 5-6 years of experience in the oil and gas industry with similar job functions. A strong background in occupational health and safety (OHS) practices is necessary for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrange safety orientation sessions for company personnel and contractors;
- Coordinate special trainings such as confined space entry, working at heights, and defensive driving;
- Organize third-party trainings like rigger training and SCABA as recommended by the company;
- Deliver employee training using various methods and media;
- Conduct root cause analyses to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement;
- Communicate effectively with diverse groups through written and verbal means;
- Interact positively with individuals from varied backgrounds and situations;
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared HSE objectives;
- Operate computers proficiently and utilize Microsoft Office software efficiently to manage data and information;
- Respond appropriately in emergency situations.
