About Our Data Privacy Expert

We are seeking a seasoned professional to manage our data privacy initiatives. The role involves overseeing privacy projects, driving compliance with global and regional data protection laws, and ensuring adherence to relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data privacy and protection strategies for clients, ensuring compliance with GDPR, PDPL, DIFC, CCPA, and other applicable laws.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments, design, and implement privacy frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to embed privacy requirements into business operations and processes.
  • Manage incident response and breach management in line with global privacy requirements.
  • Develop and deliver training programs, awareness sessions, and workshops for internal teams.
  • Prepare detailed reports and dashboards for senior leadership and client stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on evolving Middle East, Indian, and global data protection regulations and recommend necessary policy updates.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Lead large-scale privacy transformation programs across multiple clients and geographies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to CXOs and senior stakeholders on privacy strategies and risk mitigation.
  • Provide technical mentorship and manage a team of consultants and analysts.
  • Drive innovation in privacy operations, automation, and GRC integration to enhance compliance efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience; 9+ years for Senior Manager.
  • Strong expertise in data privacy, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with privacy frameworks, DPIA, PIA, consent management, and cross-border data transfers.
  • In-depth understanding of regulations such as GDPR, DIFC, ADGM, PDPL, CCPA, and Indian DPDP Act.
  • Exposure to privacy technologies and GRC platforms is desirable.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, project leadership, and communication skills.
  • Educational Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. preferred; MBA / legal background is an advantage.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • CIPT, CIPP/E, CIPP/A, CDPSE, ISO 27701 LA or equivalent certifications are an added advantage.
