As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and scalability of our products and processes. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the improvement of our organization.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual who can drive technical expertise in cloud operations, software development lifecycle, and Observability tools. You will work closely with product development teams, Cloud Infrastructure, and other SRE teams to ensure effective observability and improve reliability of our products, SDLC, and Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop build, test, and deployment automation targeting multiple on-premises and AWS regions.
  • Ensure scalability, performance, and resilience of Cvent products and processes.
  • Work with product development teams, Cloud Automation, and other SRE teams for holistic understanding of observability gaps.
  • Identify recurring problems and anti-patterns, helping teams build observability.
  • Enlighten, enable, and empower fast-growing multi-disciplinary teams across multiple applications and locations.
  • Tackle complex development, automation, and business process problems, championing best practices.
  • Give back by contributing to Open-Source projects.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills and distributed team experience.
  • Passion for making things better for peers.
  • AWS services management and operational knowledge.
  • Fluency in scripting languages like TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, and Bash.
  • SDLC methodologies experience (preferably Agile).
  • Observability experience (Logging, Metrics, Tracing) and SLI/SLO.
  • APM, monitoring, and logging tool experience (Datadog, New Relic, Splunk).
  • Containerization concepts understanding - Docker, ECS, EKS, Kubernetes.
  • Self-motivation and minimal supervision ability.
  • Troubleshooting and incident response skills.
