Job Title: Chief Data Governance Specialist

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Chief Data Governance Specialist. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of data governance policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain data governance frameworks and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and address data quality issues and implement solutions to improve data accuracy and reliability.
  • Provide training and support to data stewards and other teams on data governance policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to data governance policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting & Finance, or any related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data management within the banking and financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of data governance concepts, principles, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with data governance tools and technologies, preferably Informatica DEQ, EDC, AXON, etc.
  • Experience working with business units to embed and adopt data standards and facilitating data stewardship.
