Ultra-High Net Worth Tax Manager

At RSM, we provide exceptional tax services to ultra-high net worth individuals and families, helping them navigate complex estate and income tax planning.

As a Tax Professional on our Ultra-High Net Worth team, you will be responsible for advising clients on a full spectrum of tax services, including wealth transfer, charitable and retirement planning, and tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise ultra-high net worth clients on tax services, including wealth transfer, charitable and retirement planning, and tax compliance
  • Lead engagement teams focused on individually owned businesses, fiduciaries, and gift/estate taxation
  • Anticipate client needs and collaborate with RSM specialists on state and local taxation and international taxation
  • Deliver exceptional client service by building collaborative teams and developing team members
  • Provide leadership, training, and career mentorship to staff and supervisor-level team members
  • Drive growth opportunities with existing clients and prospects
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients and other professional advisors through a commitment to outstanding client service

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in business taxation working for a Big 4 or U.S.-based public accounting firm
  • Bachelor's degree and master's degree in accounting (B. Com/BBA and MBA/M. Com)
  • CPA license or Active Enrolled Agent
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience working in public accounting with an emphasis on taxation
  • Proficient in individual, fiduciary, and investment partnership taxation, with an understanding of complex investments and the related tax implications and/or estate, gift, and generation skipping transfer taxation
  • Familiar with multi-state taxation
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to work in a team and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
