As an HR Intern, you will support various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and administrative tasks. This internship is designed to provide you with valuable insights into HR practices and help you develop essential skills for a career in human resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Support the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing onboarding materials and facilitating orientation sessions.
- Help maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation.
- Assist with employee relations matters by providing administrative support and addressing basic employee inquiries.
- Participate in the development and implementation of employee training and development programs.
- Aid in the administration of employee benefits programs and help with enrollment and documentation.
- Support the HR team in reviewing and improving HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in preparing HR reports and presentations as needed.
- Stay informed about HR best practices and industry trends to contribute to discussions and improvements in HR processes.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong interest in human resources and a desire to learn more about HR practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Google productivity tools (Docs, Sheets).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.
