Job Description:

The Senior Data Architect is a pivotal role within our organization, serving as a trusted advisor and technical lead. This position plays a key part in our Professional Services team, collaborating with customers to drive the adoption of enterprise data architectures.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Evangelizing, motivating, and enabling customers on their Enterprise Data Cloud journey
  • Participating in pre- and post-sales processes to support sales, professional services management, and product teams
  • Utilizing deep domain knowledge and technical expertise to assist customers in defining data strategies, use case success criteria, and frameworks for successful implementations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Hadoop or related technologies, experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and strong understanding of authentication and authorization configurations for distributed systems.

Business Acumen: Strong business understanding of how Cloudera technologies solve real-world business problems, appreciation of commercial business cases driving customer data platform initiatives, and experience managing project delivery and leading technical teams.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, experience with public speaking, and ability to present to a wide range of audiences.
