Job Title: Billing Associate

Our company is seeking a highly skilled Billing Associate to join our team. This is a full-time position that requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting software/ERP, such as Oracle/SAP, and excellent computational skills. They should also possess strong attention to detail, be able to work productively without oversight, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

This role involves managing customer accounts and processing transactions, which includes:

  • Identifying outstanding accounts using ERP
  • Generating bills and invoices specific to customers
  • Creating sales orders after understanding customer requirements
  • Delivering invoices to clients via digital and traditional services
  • Reconciling all payments with invoices
  • Receiving and sorting incoming payments, including cash, DC/CC, online payments, and UPI
  • Managing petty cash
  • Identifying inconsistencies in transactions or pricing in ERP
  • Regularly updating receivables specific to customers
  • Addressing customer queries and resolving problems
  • Submitting cash collected to the concerned authority at the end of the day
  • Reconciling all payments received at the end of the day
  • Preparing and submitting daily sales reports to the Accounts team
  • Generating monthly and quarterly reports and presenting them to the Reporting Authority

Key qualifications include:

  • Understanding of accounting software/ERP
  • Strong computational skills

  • Robust written and communication skill set
  • Basic understanding of office software and machinery
  • 1 year of experience as a Billing Executive at a large format store
  • Understanding of relevant laws, rules, and regulations
