Job Position:

We are seeking a proactive Communications Specialist to support our corporate communication efforts across South India.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing media outreach, editorial coverage, and communication engagement, requiring frequent travel across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Build and Nurture Relationships: Establish strong connections with journalists and media outlets to secure positive media presence.
  2. Content Creation: Develop and manage press releases, editorial content, and communication kits to effectively convey company messages.
  3. Media Coordination: Collaborate with PR agency partners and support media activities to ensure successful event execution.
  4. Media Monitoring: Analyze industry communication trends and monitor coverage to inform future strategies.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  2. Excellent communication and storytelling skills to engage audiences and convey complex information.
  3. Strong understanding of media operations and tools to efficiently manage multiple projects.
  4. Ability to travel frequently across the South region to oversee on-ground communications activations and events.
Preferred Experience:
  1. Prior experience in healthcare communications to leverage expertise in a specific industry.
  2. Exposure to media coordination for events or campaigns to apply existing knowledge in new contexts.
