Job Overview

FleishmanHillard's India team has multiple immediate opportunities for PR consultants to work across various segments, including Technology, BFSI, B2B, FMCG, Auto, Advocacy, Education, and Healthcare.

This dynamic role offers the chance to build and maintain relationships with top local clients, work closely with the media, and apply solid research, writing, and client management skills.

About This Role

As an experienced industry professional, you will advance brand communications objectives that align with the client's strategy and positioning.

  • Develop compelling public relations programs for both B2B and B2C clients.
  • Ensure clients' strategic objectives are met through effective program execution.
  • Create high-quality written materials, including media correspondence, bylines, and speaking abstracts.
  • Project Management: setting priorities, maintaining deadlines, and managing projects.
  • Build relationships with regional and national media outlets.
  • Coordinate regional projects with other offices in Asia.
  • Work effectively in a team and mentor juniors, as well as support budget planning.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Client Relationship Building: Develop strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  2. Media Relations: Build relationships with regional and national media outlets to secure coverage for clients.
  3. Content Creation: Develop high-quality written materials, including media releases, bylines, and speaking abstracts.
  4. Project Management: Set priorities, maintain deadlines, and manage projects to ensure successful outcomes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience in an agency or corporate communications department.
  • Excellent client service skills, strong organizational skills, and creativity in problem-solving.
  • Superb research and writing skills, with experience drafting client and press materials.
  • Seasoned media relations skills, with experience working with regional and national media.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and focus on results, with a positive and professional disposition in every situation.
  • A point of view, and a proven ability to propose solutions and present ideas in a persuasive and compelling manner.
