Corporate Communications Manager Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Communications Manager with a passion for strategic communications. The ideal candidate will have strong relationships with media outlets and experience in the corporate sector.

About the Role:
  • The successful applicant will lead our corporate communications strategy, developing and executing integrated communication plans tailored to the needs of our clients.
  • This role requires leadership, creativity, and the ability to drive results through a motivated team.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Communication Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies that enhance our clients' reputation and drive business growth.
  2. Crisis Management: Provide expert guidance on crisis communication, ensuring prompt and effective response to minimize reputational damage.
  3. Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts, securing coverage in top-tier publications.
  4. Budget Management: Oversee budget allocation, ensuring efficient use of resources to achieve business objectives.
  5. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a high-performing team, providing coaching and development opportunities to ensure individual and team success.
  6. Data-Driven Insights: Analyze data and metrics to inform communication strategies, driving continuous improvement and optimization.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in corporate communications, preferably within an agency setting.
  • Strong media relations expertise with a proven track record of managing press coverage for airlines, airports, or travel brands.
  • Experience in crisis communication, stakeholder engagement, and reputation management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
