GRC Implementation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled GRC implementation specialist to fill this key role. As an integral member of our GRC team, you will play a critical part in implementing GRC systems for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Participate in Client Initiatives: Collaborate with clients to minimize technology risk, enhance governance, and improve compliance with policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate Business and IT Risks: Conduct thorough assessments to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Develop IT Security Standards: Create and implement robust security standards, procedures, and controls to manage risks and improve client security posture.
  • Evaluate Information Security Threats: Analyze potential threats and their impact on clients' IT environments.
  • Support Senior Team Members: Assist senior team members in analyzing requirements, designing information security postures, and addressing legal, regulatory, and scheme security requirements.
  • Deliver Work Streams: Support senior team members in delivering work streams for clients in compliance standards such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, EU GDPR, and Bahrain PDPL.
  • Perform Risk Assessments: Conduct internal and external information security risk and exception assessments, including incident management disciplines.
  • Document Control Failures: Document and report control failures and gaps to stakeholders, providing remediation guidance and preparing management reports to track remediation activities.
  • Stay Current on Best Practices: Stay up-to-date on best practices and technological advancements, serving as a technical resource for security assessment and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in IT Governance, Risk & Compliance.
  • Understanding: Understanding of ISO 27001, PCI DSS, ITIL, ITSM, and COBIT standards is preferred.
  • Risk Management: Experience with risk management principles and associated methodologies.
  • Certifications: CEH, CISSP, CISA, or CISM qualification is ideally required.
  • Decision-Making: Proven ability to make sound pragmatic decisions and judgments under tight timelines.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to drive change in a collaborative way both internally and externally.
