Job Title: Mainframe Systems Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Systems Specialist to lead our team in delivering high-quality mainframe solutions. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust systems that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead DB2 database projects, ensuring smooth operation and optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with the CICS, MQ, ZOS teams to design and implement scalable and efficient systems.
  • Provide expertise in Control-M, ensuring its effective usage and configuration.
  • Assist in managing MF - Operators / RACF and COBOL code reviews, ensuring compliance and best practices.
  • Work closely with the Linux One team to optimize system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements.
  • Oversee PCM + Networking and Payment Networks initiatives, ensuring seamless integration and high availability.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in mainframe consulting, with a strong track record of delivering successful projects.
  • Strong knowledge of DB2, CICS, MQ, ZOS, Control-M, and COBOL, with expertise in system design, implementation, and optimization.
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
