As a seasoned Mainframe Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of mainframe systems through thorough manual and automated testing.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mainframe testing, including JCL, COBOL, SQL, and automation tools like Api test automation using Rest Assured or Karate, Selenium, Cucumber with Java.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing comprehensive test plans
  • Utilizing CI/CD and DevOps practices to streamline testing processes
  • Providing detailed test case estimations, writing scenarios, cases, and executing tests while opening bugs and verifying them
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams for seamless communication and stakeholder management

Strong analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication, and the ability to perform independent testing are essential qualities for this role.

A good understanding of the banking industry, test lifecycle, and core testing process/techniques is also desirable.

This position requires a strong background in software testing methodologies, technical skills, and attention to detail.
