About This Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized professional to join our team as a Reservations Coordinator. As a key member of our reservations department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests through various channels, ensuring timely and accurate responses to their queries, and resolving any issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Engagement: We proactively engage with guests through phone, email, and other communication channels to provide pre-arrival information, answer inquiries, and address concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
- Reservations Coordination: We work closely with the reservations team to ensure seamless handover of guest information and payment details, guaranteeing a smooth and efficient experience for our guests.
- Issue Resolution: We handle guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally, seeking resolutions and escalating to relevant departments if necessary, while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude.
- Sales and Upselling: We identify opportunities to upsell additional services, upgrades, or amenities to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue, aligning with our business objectives.
- Hotel Knowledge: We promote hotel loyalty programs, special offers, and packages to encourage guest participation and loyalty, highlighting the unique features and benefits of our property.
- Relationship Building: We build strong relationships with guests by demonstrating personalized service, attentiveness, and genuine care for their needs and preferences, resulting in increased satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements:
- Candidate Profile: Prior experience in hospitality, customer service, or a related field is beneficial but not required; we welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds who can bring fresh perspectives and skills to our team.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, with the ability to convey clear and professional information to guests and colleagues alike.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with guests and team members are crucial, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented individuals who can multitask and meet deadlines without compromising on accuracy are highly valued, ensuring seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
- Technical Skills: A comfort level using technology tools like email, chat systems, and reservation software is a plus, allowing us to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Flexibility: The ability to work independently and collaborate well with others in a team-oriented environment is essential, with flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
