- Lead overall branch operations, ensuring achievement of sales volume, profitability, and market share goals.
- Develop and execute state-specific sales strategies aligned with national objectives, focusing on long-term growth and market penetration.
- Strengthen channel development by identifying, appointing, and nurturing new distributors, dealers, and institutional accounts across urban and rural markets.
- Plan and implement dealer schemes, promotional campaigns, and go-to-market initiatives in collaboration with marketing.
- Manage and mentor a team of sales managers and branch support staff; drive capability building and performance.
- Conduct regular reviews, track sales targets, and take corrective action to address gaps at monthly, quarterly, and annual levels.
- Work closely with supply chain and logistics to ensure efficient inventory planning, stock availability, and timely deliveries.
- Monitor competitor activities, evolving market trends, and customer insights to identify risks and new business opportunities.
- Drive revenue growth and expansion through effective sales and distribution strategies.
- Build strong relationships with channel partners, distributors, and dealers to enhance market presence.
- Develop and execute regional sales plans, aligning with company objectives and market trends.
- Monitor and analyze market data, sales performance, and competitor activity to inform business decisions.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing sales team, driving capability building and performance improvement.
A graduate or postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or related discipline is required. The ideal candidate should have 15–20 years of progressive experience in the Electricals/Consumer Durables/FMCG sector, with a strong understanding of regional market dynamics.
- Mandatory: At least 10 years of experience handling Bihar state, with a strong understanding of regional market dynamics.
- Proven success in leading high-performing sales teams and managing channel partners across Tier-1, Tier-2, and rural markets.
- Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and negotiation abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Drive impact in an innovation-led, performance-driven organization.
- Lead a high-potential state for a reputable brand.
