Senior IT Project Manager

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will oversee the coordination of IT projects, managing timelines, budgets, and team performance. They will ensure timely completion of projects and effective communication with stakeholders.

  • Develop best practices for project planning, execution, ongoing deliverable tracking, communication, and key performance metrics.
  • Present updates on project status to senior management.
  • Provide support to IT executives for Executive Meetings: Status Reports, IT Operating Board, and IT Advisory Board.
  • Guide business governance committees for prioritization of projects in the portfolio and related schedule, advising them on existing resource demand and other constraints, project dependencies and risks.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Experience using knowledge management systems (VISIO, Smart sheet, MS Projects, Excel & Power Point).
  • Industry standard Project Management Certifications such as PMP.
  • Min. 12 years of experience in IT PMO roles, with at least 6 years of experience in business analyst roles for IT software and infrastructure projects.
  • Preferred experience in design/deployment business process responsibilities involving complex requirements assessment, process/procedure design and implementation within the technology services industry.
