Real Estate Investment Analyst Financial Modeling Position

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Real Estate Investment Analyst to join our team and contribute to the company's growth strategy.

The successful candidate will have a strong accounting and finance background, with experience in financial modeling, underwriting, and data analysis. They will be responsible for building dynamic pro forma models, underwriting new deals, and analyzing rent rolls and market comps.

  • Financial Modeling & Analysis: Develop and refine Excel-based pro forma models to support strategic decision-making.
  • Underwriting & Deal Assessment: Conduct thorough underwriting of new deals across various CRE assets.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze operating memoranda, T12s, and market comps to derive meaningful insights.
  • Asset Management Support: Monitor performance, compile reports, and drive asset management strategies.
  • Investor Communications: Prepare investment memos, updates, and performance dashboards using strong written English.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in CRE underwriting/investment analysis, supported by a strong accounting and finance foundation.
  • Hospitality expertise with a clear grasp of key metrics.
  • Proven ability in monitoring asset performance and compiling reports.
  • Exceptional written English skills for crafting nuanced, investor-focused updates.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt strategies for evolving market conditions.
