Infection Control Marketing Specialist

Main responsibilities include developing and executing marketing strategies to build awareness and generate demand for infection control products. The role involves organizing product demonstrations, workshops, and participation in industry conferences and exhibitions.
Key tasks include analyzing customer needs, current market trends, and market potential, as well as assessing competitor offerings and identifying opportunities for differentiation. Additionally, the Product Manager will analyze project funnels and submit accurate forecasts for production.
The role also includes creating marketing collateral and presentations, demonstrating stock management skills, and coordinating new product launches while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Furthermore, the Product Manager will provide product training to sales and marketing teams internally and end-users externally, and conduct regular reporting to update stakeholders on activities and progress.
Market Development involves planning, coordinating, and executing marketing programs to create pull in the market for the entire range of IC product portfolio. This includes responsibility for launching new products or product lines and conducting and executing symposiums, marketing programs, CMEs, and conferences from initiation to execution in consultation with sales and head-marketing teams.
Training Support is a key aspect of the role, including responsible training for the IC product line, initiating and conducting internal product and technical training for sales and other team members/distributors to meet objectives. Additionally, the Product Manager will conduct operational training to end-users, follow-up trainings, and troubleshooting, and coordinate with other Product Managers for operational training during project completion/final handover.
Sales Support involves supporting the sales team with product knowledge, training, and strategic selling tools, identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities with consumables and equipment bundles, attending or driving product-related technical discussions for projects, tenders, and flow business, and handing over and developing new sales reps on priority to ensure they are confident in promoting the product to customers.
The role also involves tracking sales, organizing stocks, maintaining and analyzing sales data, taking corrective actions to address areas of concern in consultation with head-marketing, handling complaints related to products from customers, and coordinating with appropriate persons for feedback and resolution. Other duties may be assigned by seniors/management to support the team. Regular customer visits individually and with sales colleagues are also required to ensure all marketing and product communications comply with healthcare regulations, infection control standards, and quality certifications.
