Investment Banking Team Member

Job Purpose:

We seek skilled professionals to join our Investment Banking team, responsible for supporting clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a dedicated team in investment banking to support clients across multiple sectors, including IT/BPO, Telecom, Consumer, Pharma, Infrastructure, Healthcare, Retail, Industrials, Energy & Power, Metals & Mining, Financial Institutions (FIG), Equity Capital Markets (ECM), and Debt Capital Markets (DCM).
  • Prepare company profiles, pitch books, industry overviews, and study/analyze different business and financial models in specific industries.
  • Provide high-quality analysis on projects, including critical industry or market analysis, company reports, ad-hoc requests, financial analysis, competitive benchmarking, and opportunity assessments through secondary research.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of financial analysis, including operational/financial benchmarking, trading/transaction comparables, etc.
  • Contribute towards managing project timelines and quality of deliverables to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Develop skills in client relationship building and management, information/knowledge needs assessment.

Required Background:

  • MBA/CFA/CA degree
  • 5-7 years of experience supporting the Investment Banking division of a bank, consulting firm, boutique firm, or advisory firm
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently as required
  • Good written and spoken communication skills
  • Working knowledge of databases such as Capital IQ, Refinitiv, Factset, Factiva, Merger Market, etc.
  • MS Office skills – proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word
