Key Account Manager Job Description

At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a real impact in the life sciences industry.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in your designated territory
  • Promote our product portfolio through regular presentations, CMEs, awareness programs, and patient-centric initiatives
  • Understand and devise scientific engagement plans for KOLs
  • Resolve queries from doctors to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Effectively handle and understand inventory, secondary sales, claim settlements, and receivables with local authorized wholesale dealers
  • Timely submission of daily activity reports, weekly sales updates, monthly prescription trackers, tour plans, expense claims, and monthly reports
  • Prepare and present quarterly performance summaries at quarterly review meetings
  • Gather and forward competitive intelligence about competitor products, strategies, and initiatives to the marketing and medical strategy team periodically

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in oncology or other super-specialty selling
  • Relevant domain experience and level of exposure will be critical to the position
  • Education: Science or Pharma graduates
