Geoscientist Position Overview:

A geological professional with extensive experience is sought to participate in upstream oil and gas projects. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in structural geology, encompassing fault framework analysis, seismic interpretation, and geomechanics.

This role involves creating detailed maps of regional and local structural fault frameworks using seismic data, as well as generating structural cross-sections and topographic maps. A basic understanding of geomechanics, rock mechanics, and fluid flow is also essential.

The successful applicant will hold a Master's or Ph.D. degree in Geology or Earth Science from a reputable institution, specializing in structural geology or basin analysis.

This is a full-time position requiring the candidate to work in an office setting five days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analyses of seismic data to create comprehensive structural models
  • Generate detailed maps and cross-sections of regional and local structural fault frameworks
  • Apply knowledge of geomechanics, rock mechanics, and fluid flow to optimize project outcomes
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless project execution

Required Skills and Qualifications:
