Job Title:

Senior Pathology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pathology Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute blood collection from laboratory animals, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Monitor anesthesia / euthanasia of laboratory animals, taking into account their welfare and comfort.
  • Develop and implement necropsy examination plans, utilizing advanced pathology techniques.
  • Conduct necropsy examinations of laboratory animals, accurately identifying tissues and organs.
  • Prepare and conduct tissue trimming, processing, block making, sectioning, slide staining for various studies, adhering to strict protocols.
  • Analyze histopathological slides for toxicity and efficacy studies, providing detailed reports.
  • Oversee histopathological slide preparation, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Prepare comprehensive histopathological reports for Pre-clinical studies as a senior study pathologist, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a life science field, such as biology, chemistry, or veterinary medicine.
  • Masters or Ph.D. in pathology or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pathology, preferably in a research setting.
  • Strong knowledge of animal models, experimental designs, and statistical analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with scientists, veterinarians, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
