Job Overview

The Head of IT Operations will be responsible for leading the delivery of IT services across various departments, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and adherence to agreed service levels.

  • Leading end-to-end delivery of IT service requirements as per agreed service levels and providing performance reports.
  • Designing infrastructure solutions to meet current and future IT demands.
  • Managing contracts for IT products and services acquisitions and evaluating vendor performance.
  • Serving as a second line of support for customers in incident management and resolving escalations.
  • Overseeing operational resources including goals, performance, training, and business continuity requirements.
  • Approving new or changed operational requirements for various stakeholders.
  • Ensuring high availability of critical IT sub-systems and core devices.
  • Supporting new projects including departmental IT implementations and digital initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to take on the role of Head of IT Operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, technical knowledge, and experience in managing IT operations.

  • Resolving all incidents in accordance with service level agreements.
  • Managing the corrective action report process to ensure reports are compiled for major incidents.
  • Implementing continuous service improvements within IT and tracking them through to completion.
  • Analyzing unresolved incidents to identify tasks that can be completed by resources, improving first-contact fix rates.
