Job Title: Senior Executive - Finance

Description:

This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team as a senior executive in finance. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for performing reconciliations for customer and vendor ledgers, as well as inter-company transactions.

You will review and verify supplier invoices in line with contractual agreements and record entries in our financial system. Additionally, you will prepare monthly management information reports, revenue statements, and reconcile income and expenditure reports.

As part of your responsibilities, you will oversee monthly billing for cargo handling and counter sales, ensuring daily/monthly BOS reconciliation. You will also monitor receivables, follow up with debtors, and prepare monthly ageing reports.

Maintaining and updating financial data across systems such as RSmart and COSYS is another critical aspect of this role. You will process invoices and accurately record receipts, generate MIS reports and costing sheets for Air India GH & CH using BOS financial data.

Your role will also involve ensuring proper documentation and backup for all financial transactions, conducting general ledger reviews and analysis, and assisting auditors during financial audits and statement preparation.

In addition, you will deliver invoices to airline clients and submit acknowledgments to the team. As required, you will take on additional responsibilities assigned by the reporting manager or department head.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, preferably with experience in ERP systems. Exposure to the aviation industry is a plus.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Chartered Accountancy with 3–7 years of relevant experience.
  • Master's degree in Commerce or MBA (Finance) with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Proficient in computer applications and financial systems.
